Boyfriend / Girlfriend Contract

It's been about 4 months since the last time I've posted something on this blog. Time runs so fast. In the past few months that I have been inactive, several things happened - I've had a tooth extracted, I've gained weight, and oh, I'm 24 now. hehe :-) (had my 24th birthday on September 24).

And then something special happened. I met her. :-) Who would have thought that in just 4 months, your prayers will be answered and your wishes will come true. Well, that happened to me. :-)

Finding someone to love and loves you in return uplifts your spirit to wake up each day and face reality that is way better than your dreams. It gives you reasons to smile this much -

Anyway, a lot of things happened to me in 4-months time that I cannot write all of them down. I just want to share this piece of paper - a contract that my girlfriend made and gave to me on my birthday.

I really find it creative, cute, and romantic. :-) I'll definitely do my best to follow what the contract says. :-)

Sketch

paying attention to shading now.. :-)

Sketch

Sketching has been one of my hobbies since I was a child but I haven't really paid attention to shading. Thanks to my younger brother who's also fond of drawing, I've started to practice shading techniques..

This is my first attempt paying attention to shading. Hopefully, as I continue to sketch, my skill will improve. :-)

It's More Fun in Siquijor

by: Christian Duran

I spent my 2-day vacation leave with my family touring around Siquijor.

Siquijor is a small island. As a matter of fact, it is the 3rd smallest island in the Philippines; you can go around the island in just 4 hours.

But unlike other places where tourist attractions are just one stop spot, Siquijor is literally surrounded by white sandy beaches, waterfalls, natural springs, caves, etc. You can hardly pick which tourist spots you want to visit first.

If you're a nature lover, what more can you ask?

The pictures I have only show about 30% of what the island offers. I haven't explored Siquijor's caves, mountain peaks, mangrove sanctuaries, and all other tourist attractions yet.

Salagdoong Beach - Maria Siquijor

Cambugahay Falls - Lazi, Siquijor

Capilay Spring Park - San Juan, Siquijor

Enchanted Balete Tree with natural spring - Campalanas, Lazi, Siquijor

Kawayan Holiday Resort - San Juan, Siquijor

Lazi Convent - the biggest and oldest convent in Asia

Siquijor Bell Tower - Siquijor, Siquijor

Siquijor Port - One of the cleanest ports you'll ever see. The first thing you'll notice when you arrive in Siquijor is that even the port looks like a beach resort.

Guimaras Company Outing

by: Christian Duran

Our company Xilium, had our team outing in Guisi, Guimaras during the last week of March. It was an awesome experience with beautiful sceneries (espececially the 17th Century light house tower and ruins) captured by the photos below.

Guimaras is a serine and beautiful place far away from the city's noise and pollution. Visiting Guimaras makes me miss my hometown, Siquijor even more because of the similarities. I will definitely take pictures of Siquijor once I get home.

This time, enjoy the pictures taken from Guisi, Guimaras. :-)
