The Vow – Taking The Pain, Fighting For Love: How Far Can You Go?

by: Christian Duran

Introduction Phase/Interlude

----->(You can skip this part, not really that important; just want to set the mood. lol.)

So, there I was lying on my bed at 5:00 pm. I had work last night from 2:00 am until 11:00 am. (was it last night or yesterday? Crap. It's really hard to remember time and dates if you are on a graveyard shift.) One thing’s for sure though; I should have been asleep at around 1 pm to get some energy for another working shift but my body was not cooperative. I have this tendency to spend at least an hour jut lying down and thinking of whatever goes into my mind before I actually fall to asleep. There are some days that I couldn't sleep at all even if I badly want to; today was one of them.

When my younger brother, Ivan arrived from school, he immediately asked me to eat. I told him that we'll go to McDonalds for him to get his haircut in the nearby salon afterwards. But the moment we're ready to go, it was already past 6pm. (Wow, time really flies fast. Is this also an effect of global warming? lol.) We then decided to change plans. Since I need to sleep but I can't, I thought perhaps going to the cinemas might help. Never mind the sound and the noise from the big screen; for me, the cozy atmosphere and the dim-lighted room makes up for it. I was also planning to watch The Vow so I thought it might as well be today.

So off to Robinsons we went. At first we take out 4 slices of pizzas and this noodle thing'' Ivan found (the noodle was freshly cooked with spices, and all. the smell was enticing.)

The cinema room where the movie was played had quite a few people. Mostly by pairs. This is a couple's movie after all. But I don't care; I like these kinds of movies. I don't know about my younger brother but it appears like he also learned to love such kind of movies after I've urged him to watch My Sassy Girl. I can still remember how he tried to hide his tears while watching that movie. But in the end, he just can't keep it and tears flowed. hahaha. I teased him about that from time to time.

Realization

-----> (Now here’s the part where I discuss what I thought about the movie. Hehe)

At first, I really thought that The Movie will have a story similar to The Notebook since it has Rachel McAdams on it. Perhaps a combination of The Notebook and Dear John having Channing Tatum as the leading man. But The Vow was special in its own unique way.

Paige (Rachel McAdam's character, is brave lady). I admire her courage and openness. It's difficult to wake up one day and not to remember what you have done for the past few years and who you have become. The way that she cooperates with Leo, how she says yes to all of those weird things she never thought she used to do with her husband was cool. I can't blame her if she has some mood swings because anyone in her shoes will really have a tough time figuring this out. But overall she displayed strength, confidence and positive attitude.

Leo (Channing Tatum’s character) is a good guy. I was moved with the way how he desperately thinks of ways on how to get his wife's memory back but calmly acts while on Paige's presence. That calm, cool, and charming demeanor is special. I can't imagine any other man having the same attitude in real life (well, except me.. hahaha) It made me smile knowing the fact that the movie was based on a real life. It means that genuine love still exists. “If there's one thing that will never be extinct here on Earth, then that would be LOVE for even the word EVOLution has LOVE on it." - By the way that's one of my own quotes (source: http://christianrduran.blogspot.com/search/label/Personal%20Quotes number 34. Hahaha) and it Leo certainly lives up to that phrase.

I thought of comparing the way I tried to win my ex back to the situation Leo faced but on a deeper analysis, having your wife fall in love with you again the way Paige's love involuntarily faded, is way too much tougher than what I have gone through. To be the odd man and be out of place in every occasion is quite embarrassing. Having your wife's family not on your side and haven’t meet you before in the first place is completely awkward. Having your wife's ex fiancé sticking around poses further complications and heartaches. But Leo took those challenges in.

The fact that he hasn't told Paige about what Paige's father did showed mind control over emotions and deep sense of maturity. How he handled all hose pain is so admirable. (aw, by the way, check the part where Leo tickled Paige as what Leo’s friend advised, and see his reaction afterwards.)

We often hear the cliché phrase, “If you love someone, you got to set him/her free. "Leo’s case is a perfect example of that situation. He signed the divorce paper not because he doesn't love Paige anymore. It’s the complete opposite. Letting Paige figure things out all by herself.

Giving her the time and space she needs is like suicide. What if Paige will choose to stick to her old life and will ultimately forget everything or choose to forget everything beyond what she can recall for that matter? What Leo did was such a risky move because of love. It seemingly fits that Leo was singing along the song “I will do anything for love “at the first part of the movie and of course it seemingly fits why the movie has The Vow as its title in the first place.

"You have figured things out before, you can do it again.” I love the way how Leo delivered that line. You can definitely feel the sincerity, pain and love behind those words.

Overall, I was happy i did not sleep for the last 24 hours and watched The Vow. I don't want to spoil all the movie's details. You must figure it yourself. hahaha. But as I said, the movie is special. The idea that it was inspired by a real story makes it more heart-warming.

P.S. I can't find the exact monologue Leo delivered during the course of the movie. It was something about “Moments of Impact." You should listen to it carefully for you to learn some heartfelt thoughts. Also, during the end of the movie, check out what happened to the real life couple where the story was based. ;-)

My Parents Silver Wedding Anniversary

by: Christian Duran

My parents Silver Wedding Anniversary was held on January 28, 2012 at Dumaguete City. I traveled from Iloilo (where I am currently staying) to Dumaguete on January 27, 2012 at around 1:30 pm. My two younger brothers and our guest, Richie were a little behind since they still have classes.

Travel time from Iloilo to Dumaguete is roughly 8 hours (an hour ferry ride from Iloilo to Bacolod then 7-hour bus ride from Bacolod to Dumaguete). The 1 hour ferry ride was a rough experience. I was drained. My seasickness got the best of me. The 7-hour bus ride from Bacolod to Iloilo was not much of a convenience either.

When I arrived in Dumaguete Grand Pensionne Plaza Hotel where my family was staying, it was past midnght and I still had work from 2am to 6 am. God bless me. After work, I tried to sleep to be able to regain strength before the wedding. But sleep was not friendly to me that day. I really felt like a walking zombie.

But things changed when we started dressing up and prepared going to church. It was an overwhelming feeling seeing relatives and family friends you haven't meet for some time and gain new acquaintances along the way.

Weddings are always cool and to be married with the same person twice is way much cooler. 25 years of marriage is a remarkable feat. It is a testament of trust, loyalty, and love. :-)

Pacquiao Versus Marquez is Like L.A.Lakers Winning Over Brgy. Ginebra Kings by Just 1 Point!

by: Christian Duran

So, what can i say about the recent Pacquiao-Marquez fight?

I may not be a boxing expert but I understand the sport very well. Roberto Duran's fame was the primary reason why I gain interest for the sport. It really catches your attention when a sports icon or a famous person for that matter shares your last name. When I was a kid, i often hear the name Roberto Duran a.k.a. The Hands of Stone; so I researched about him on encyclopedias (I still don't know how to use the internet before.. waht do u expect from a typical Filipino 10 year old kid from the 8o's.)  and asked some boxing fanatics in our place. The said curiosity eventually opened my eyes to the boxing world and fuel my appreciation to other boxing legends like Muhammad ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mike Tyson, and Lennox Lewis to name a few.

Then came Manny Pacquiao who further cemented my admiration for the sport not only because Pacquiao is a Filipino but because Manny is a freak of nature. I don't need to state his accomplishments. Everybody knows it. One of the things I appreciate about Pacquiao is his unorthodox yet effecive style.. throwing thunderous punches from hardly imaginable angles.  It's like a side-step basketball move. You can't practice it but during the acual games, the move just comes to you. It's like your body is programmed to do it. (Yeah, right.. I'm a basketball addict.)

Let's go back to  Pacquiao-Marquez topic.. Marquez has been a headache for Manny Pacquiao. If Ali has Joe frazier, Pacquiao has Marquez. Everyone knows how close and the first two fights between the two were.. so the two meet for the third time to supposedly answer all the doubts playing on everybody's mind. Marquez believe that he won both the first two fights BUT..

A MUCH-FORGOTTEN element of Pacquiao-Marquez 1st bout was that one of the judges scored the three-knockdown round 10-7 for Pacquiao rather than the CORRECT score 10-6.

Pacquiao should have won that fight. THAT ONE POINT scoring error would have erased much of the talk about further matchup fights. But still, it would be a close one.

Pacquiao floored Marquez, the defending champion that time (2004) three times in the first round but seemed to run out of fuel and was outboxed on the latter rounds. It appeared like the knockdown was a result of adrenaline rush. The fight ended in a draw. But again, Pacquiao should have won it if only the scoring mishap did not happen.

The 2nd fight (2008) was like a de ja vu of the first bout. Manny came out smoing and storming in the early rounds and had Marquez kiss the canvass during the 3rd round and yet lost his fire in the latter rounds. He still managed to won though by a controversial split decision.

After their second fight, the two faced different fighters but pacquiao garnered much attention. He kept moving up and destroyed larger and powerful opponents, en-route to an unprecendented 8-division tite champion. He was also declared as the pound for pound best fighter in the world and the fighter of the decade (much to the dismay of Floyd Mayweather).

Marquez was also successful on his own right but his fights were not as impressive compared to Pacquiao. This was further emphasized when marquez was outclassed by Mayweather. And yet because of the docking game being played by Mayweather, tehre's nothing much left for Pacquiao but to face Marquez once more and end all speculations that he should have lost the first two fights. Manny Pacquiao is a difefrent fighter now. He's a much complete boxer and seems like unvulnerable. He's no longer a one-handed puncher. He has power on both hands. He's right hand may eveen be stonger thatmost right handed boxers out there. There's no wonder why boxing analysts predict Pacquio to win over Marquez in a loopsided 10-1 fashion.

However, things did not turn out as what it was supposed to be. Marquez who was supposed to be 6 years older, a step (or even steps) slower, fought toe to toe with Pacquiao. That was the story of the fight. Marquez had a game plan and he played it perfectly. Pacquiao on the other hand was not the ferocious Pacman against David Díaz, Oscar De la Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto,  Joshua Clottey, Antonio Margarito, and Shane Mosley. Statistics form CompuBox showed that Pacman threw more punches but not as accurate as Marquez.

For numbers and statistics sake, below is a more comprehensive report about punches thrown by the two fighters from ABS-CBN news.com (http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/sports/11/13/11/compubox-shows-pacquiao-landed-more-shots)

- - - - -   Official fight statistics from CompuBox show that Filipino boxer Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao threw and landed more punches against Mexican rival, Juan Manuel Marquez in their WBO welterweight title clash at the MGM Grand Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila).

CompuBox is a program that counts and categorizes punches in boxing matches. In the final statistics, it shows that Pacquiao threw more shots (578) than Marquez (435).Pacquiao connected with 176 punches (30%), while Marquez landed 138 (32%).

The jabs thrown favors Pacquiao, who connected with 59 of 304 jabs thrown, while Marquez connected with 38 of 182 jabs thrown. Marquez was more efficient, however, connecting 21% of his jabs while Pacquiao connecte 19%. Pacquiao has the lead in power punches, connecting on 117 of 274 attempts or 43%, while Marquez connected on 100 of 254 power punches thrown or 39%.

Per round, Pacquiao threw 49 punches and landed 14, while Marquez threw 36 punches and landed 11. While he landed fewer shots, Marquez was able to rattle Pacquiao with strong shots to the body in the middle rounds.

Nonetheless, Pacquiao eked out a majority decision win over Marquez in their trilogy bout, with judges scoring the bout 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112. - - - -

I watched the fight on a black and white reception (live telecast) and was not impressed by Manny's performance. I initially called it a draw. As I said, marquez played his game plan perfectly but was it enough to convincingly win over Pacquiao? (take note of the term CONVINCINGLY) Hell, no.. and so I watched GMA's fight coverage to see the bout in a colored perspective (with tons of advertisements between rounds).  This time around I call it in favor of Pacquiao much like how CompuBox read the puches thrown. There's no way though that I will give a score of 116 - 112. (What fight was the 3rd judge watching?) 115-113 was more acceptable.

Pacquiao was the more active fighter and he threw more punches. However, he was not at his best during the fight.

Take it this way.. Pacquiao = L.A. Lakers.. Marquez = Brgy. Ginebra Kings.

Of course, everyone who knows basketball will bet that the Lakers will win convincingly over Ginebra, same as everyone who knows boxing expect that Pacman will dominate versus marquez. But don't forget Ginebra's do or die attitude much like Marquez'heart of a true fighter.

It's like Lakers shooting a horrible 40/100 while Ginebra shoot a much more acceptable 30/60 (I'm exaggerating by the way.. but still the comparison makes sense) and surprsingly got more points from the free-throw line . But then and agin, Lakers threw more shots and made more baskets. In the end of regulation time, lakers won by JUST 1 POINT!

Point of the matter is,  basketball fans will say, how in the world did Ginebra match the Lakers.. with Bryant, Gasol, Bynum and all that.. same as boxing fans saying.. "How in the world did Marquez fought toe to toe with Pacquiao.. man, he won this fight.

Bottomline is, we just expect too much from Manny. That was the problem - People underestimated Marquez. We can't blame ouselves though. Manny earned his 8 division titles, KNOCKING THE HELL OUT OF EACH DIVISION CHAMPION. But he haven't brought that fire on his last fight. Nonetheless scorecards will NOT earn you a title nod if you are against a Champ like Manny.

Marquez just don't have 'It'. He played his gameplan well enough but he doesn't have the power to knock Pacquiao out." He did not have the power before when he was still younger and he will never have. He only landed cleaner and clearer shots. (That's it pancit. That's just it.)

Marquez was the challenger. You don't expect to win a fight if you only stick with your counter-punching technique. Not to take any points from him cause he was superb. He made all boxing analysts looked foolish. He exceeded all expectations but then and again, Counter-punching is a great technique but IS IT ENOUGH to make a challenger a champion? Not a Chance.

Counter-punching has to be mixed up with a KILLER's instinct.  You got be be MORE AGGRESSIVE. Again, Marquez was the CHALLENGER. He should have pushed the action. If you want a sure win decision, you got to take risks. You got to have a THUNDEROUS KNOCK OUT to  cast away all doubts.

Just because Manny did NOT knock Marquez out, means that Marquez won. It's like Manny shooting 10 highly contested-3 point shots which majority found there way through the net via shooter's bounce, while Marquez has 8 rim rattling dunks. The flair was there and the cheer from the jubilant crowd backed it up. But were these shots enough to make Marquez the winner? No and never.. no mater who the fighters will be. That's how boxing goes..

If both fighters are up on their feet, judges go to the scorecards. Pacquiao hit more jabs, more power shots and literally more punches. Marquez just happened to hit cleaner shots, so people assumes he hits more. The last shots (counter punches) are the usual onces people see.1 clear punch however will never edged 4 flashy cunning shots.

Again, the problem here was that we just expected TOO MUCH from Manny. He won, but it was not the way we expect the fight would be. Was the fight a sign that Manny is on a decline? I have no idea. Pacquiao - Marquez Trilogy plus 1 should happen for us to know.

Love and Basketball

by: Christian Duran

I'm an avid basketball fan.. I myself started playing hoops at a very young age of 8 under the heat of the sun almost every day. I was quite a leaper way back then. I could easily tap the board at a young age to the delight of my playmates (Well, I was really skinny during those days. It lessens your effort to jump or glide in the air. ) I used to wish that someday I'll be able to dunk over someone else's face.. "posterized" style.

Michael Jordan was my hero. The way he defies (or used to defy) gravity is/was totally breath-taking especially if you watch the way he moves in slow-mo(truly poetry in motion).

Then came the next generation of high flyers.. Kobe, T-Mac, Vince Carter, etc who captivated my imagination.. But as you grew older, your priorities changed. My time was diverted to studies and more serious matters and I gradually lost my A-game. I was able to cling on the rim when I was in 4th year high school. I should have been able to dunk at this very moment if I just pursue playing like I always do.

Years have passed and though I seldom play basketball, but my passion for the game never changed. I know almost all players in the NBA and I know a lot of trivia. And oh, by the way, did I already mention that I'm a die-hard Ginebra fan? like I used to weep and never eat for a day when they lose. (but Ginebra belongs to the PBA and this entry is about NBA so let's get back on track.)

Super Fastforward ------- I was rooting for Miami Heat to win the 2011 NBA Championship simply because I'm a huge fan of guys who can jump off the building (The Flash and The King) and the fact that Miami's head coach Erik Spoelstra is half Filipino is an added factor.

A lot of people hate LeBron for various reasons and I can't blame them but I've watched his high-school basketball life documentary/Movie (More Than A Game) that's why I guess I understand him more than those who only joins the bandwagon.

But when Dallas won.. when the buzzer sounded after game 6.. tears fell from my eyes. It's that warm sensation of sharing mutual sentiments with people whom you do not personally know. I like the way it feels.

I felt what Kidd, Dirk and the rest of the Mavs feel.. chasing for that elusive championship for so long.. not giving up and finally got what they have been dreaming for after an eternity of struggle. Dirk on his 13th year, Kidd on his 17th,.. 2 future hall of famers who need a championship to complete their resume .. to complete their basketball existence.

Nonetheless, Kudos to Miami Heat. They have the talents, they have the tools to be a dynasty. They just have to figure out how to use what they have. Teamwork, dedication, trust, etc should add the mix.

and for the Mavs, you deserve the championship more than anyone else.

I's like falling in love..you just have to be there.. although the person don't love you back.. you just have to be there.. You must true to your words, you must be true to all of your actions. You must not let go. Just like Dirk, sticking with the same team for all 13 long years.. opted to stay and never give up. Carrying the idea that "it ain't over 'til it's over."

"Don't dwell on failures, keep things light but always put a good fight" (That's my own quote by the way. :-) ---- cause who knows someday things will turn your way.

And How I wish things will be the same in love.

Congrats Mavs! Good Luck Heat!

What's True About The Ugly Truth?

by: Christian Duran

It’s been a hell of a month for me. Things were not going my way and I haven’t had time for myself. I used to be updated when it comes to movies. Watching 2 to 3 movies every weekend on cinemas was my hobby back then. However, for the past two months I’ve become inactive due to personal matters regarding my career. Nonetheless, I’ve found time to watch “The Ugly Truth” just a while ago. I’m lucky that it was still showing on cinemas.

Well, I’m not a movie critic. I’m not an expert on when it comes to cinematography, soundtracks, music, etc.. I know you know what I mean. So, all I can discuss is the core of the movie. The very essence of the story.

Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is the hardworking producer of a struggling morning news show in Sacramento. Abby focuses so much on her work that she doesn’t have much time left for relationships, and what time she does spend dating is often undermined by her general uptightness. Enter Mike Chadway, the host of a small public access TV show called “The Ugly Truth,” which operates on the thesis that all men want only one thing, and that women should lower their standards and settle for that. The station manager has hired Mike to be a new correspondent on the show, much to Abby’s dismay. Abby tries to get rid of Mike, but he proves to be popular. Things take a turn when Mike offers Abby some advice regarding a neighbor she’s been eyeing.

Mike Chadway did not convince me with his philosophies. For me, they are just dull ideas and theories. I totally disagree with him. I do not agree that men are that shallow as what he was trying to tell and that what men truly want is sex. Oh, come on.. The very idea that all the interactions between men and women can indeed be reduced to a simplistic formula is ridiculous. Saying that all men want only one thing, and that women should lower their standards and settle for that is trash.

I don’t understand why on earth was Abby Richter following Mike’s advices. Yes, I know, they had a deal and initially Abby wanted Mike to be out of her show that’s why he agreed with the deal. But my point is, can’t she find another deal which does not concern her relationship with Collin? Yeah.. it’s part of the plot to make the story more romantic but I find it somewhat illogical. If Abby was really a smart ass, educated woman, she would not act like a moronic dependent child like the way she acts while following Mike’s advices, instructions.. etc.

But there were moments that captured me. I like the part where Mike Chadway was questioned by that guy in the late night show about the reason behind his becoming doctor know-it-all when it comes to women and relationship. He didn’t have an immediate response and was mentally blank for a moment. It seemed like his ego was slapped at that particular moment.

I love the part when Mike didn’t know what to say and what to do when he knocked on Abby’s door after their elevator moment. That’s how a typical guy acts-nervous and indecisive when it comes to situations like that. I was quite touched on the part where Mike lost his courage and cannot look at Abby straight in the eyes and express what he truly feels. Despite being Mike Chadway.. the famous Mike Chadway, he opted to choose the other way around.. to become a coward for a moment and just walked away. That’s his true character as I can say. That was the real Mike Chadway.

Mike Chadway is not the man he was trying himself to become. He was a loving brother and uncle.. a fact that was constantly presented by way of showing how concerned he is for his nephew and how he constantly remind him of not following his false and nonsense advices on TV. That's the real Mike Chadway. The fact is, he was just trying to escape from all the heartaches he had experienced prior to becoming famous.

When it comes to Dr. Collin’s part, I see him as a bait. He was the perfect gentleman but since Mike and Abby where the main character of the movie, Dr. Collin should be eliminated. And so, they found a way to get rid of him although it’s hastily made. It was implied though it was not stated that Dr. Collin was just like the guys that mike described.. guys who were just looking for physical intimacy. When Abby asked him about the reasons why he like her, his answers were describing the girl who Abby wanted to pretend that she was and not Abby’s true self. The fact is, he didn’t love Abby but I guess given an extended time of knowing her more will lead to that special feeling. However, it did not flourish because as what I said, this is Mike and Abby’s story. Nonetheless, ladies, I tell you.. like Dr. Collin minus the “go only for physical intimacy” idea do exist. Guys who are loving, caring.. etc. You just have to find them.

Overall, although I don’t agree with some of the ideas that the movie presented, I find the movie quite fun to watch. I like Abby’s transition from a mere moronic follower to someone who realized that she should be loved as being her and not to pretend after all. I also appreciate Mike Chadway’s transition from being the man he wanted to pretend he was on TV to the truthful and sincere guy in the end. He ate his own words. hahaha

The Reality about Mr. Right's "That One Shot"

by: Christian Duran

"One dance, one look, one kiss, that's all we get, Albert. Just... one shot, to make the difference between happily ever after, and oh? he's just some guy I went to some thing with once."
-excerpt from the movie "Hitch"-

This is one of my favorite movie lines because I can totally feel what the character is trying to convey in this statement.

Often than not, the idea that girls are looking for guys who can make them feel special.. guys who can sweep off their feet is quite true. A guy who can make them laugh whenever they are not on the mood.. a guy who can make them feel how a normal day will feel like a special one whenever she's with him.. A guy who gives a sincere kiss on the forehead when saying goodbye after a long day of being together..

I tell you, guys who have these qualities are not just found in movies. They do exist. And in fact, there are several guys like them thriving in Earth.

Saying that, the question will then be.. “Why is it hard for girls to find a guy having these qualities if it is really true that there are plenty of them in this planet?” The answer my friend can be trimmed down in just one word. –“CHANCE”
Of course if a girl doesn’t know the guy, she will never give a damn interest on him. That’s the problem of “Mr. Right” because as much as we try to deny it, the idea that girls does not fall for personality in the first meeting is true. Girls tend to be carried away by “Mr. Pretty face” in the first glance. And often than not, Mr. Right isn’t an eye catcher.

I am not saying that “Mr. Right” is an ugly guy. He could be an average looking dude or even a good looking one but not just your type. But he just doesn’t have the chance to make a girl see that he is the one she has long been looking for. If he could only have one “hi and hello” to start a conversation, it may help him change the story but sad to say, it’s hard to have that one chance.. that one shot.
A good thing in the movie “Hitch” is the fact that Hitch acts like fate in a man’s body. He’s job is to give that chance and to make that chance possible for not just a stupid guy but for a nice guy who badly needs the chance. He is giving the right broom for the right guy.. for “Mr. right”. He’s job is to open the girls’ eyes that Mr. Right is indeed the right guy.

To sum it all up.. “No matter what, no matter when, no matter who... any man has a chance to sweep any woman off her feet; he just needs the right broom.”

no one can destroy a happy relationship if the foundation is true love

temptations are always imminent. people has a tendency to fall in love easily when they will meet new people and be with them for sometime and away from their love ones..

but I always believe in one thing and for me it will always be true.. no one can destroy a happy relationship if the foundation is strong.. if two people really love each other.. di na maghahanap pa ng iba ang dalawang taong yun gaano man sila kalayo at kahit ano mang pagdaanan nilang challenges..

cos in the end, one will realize na di nya dapat pakawalan ang taong tunay na nagmamahal sa kanya at yung taong di sya iiwanan ano man ang mangyayari.. falling in love is trusting each other.. falling in love is deeper than attraction or any other feelings.. falling in love is magic.. a magic that will always spark..

all other feelings for other persons may sprout but will die down easily.. but true love for someone will always be there..

wag lang papadala kaagad sa maling akala.. dont let yourself fall into the trap..

Limitations in Falling in Love

i've been observing human nature for a couple of years now magmula ng nagkamalay ako.. and one thing that i've observed which is common to all of us is our tendency to easily fall in love with someone..

this is especially true pag naninibago tayo sa isang tao.. you know what I mean.. fresh face and fresh aura.. fresh personality and fresh companion..

yun nga lang, dapat may limitations tayo.. nakikita ko kasi at napapansin ko na ang karamihan satin, nagkakagusto agad sa isang tao at di namamalayang nakakalimutan na pala natin ang mga taong parte na ng ating buhay.. what i mean is yung mga taong pinangakuan natin ng walang iwanan.. cge na nga.. para clear.. ang ibig kong sabihin ay yung mga girlfriend/boyfriend natin way back home..

i've been in a training for the last 3 weeks and as what i have observed, marami sa mga kasama ko ay may relationship na kaso di nila maitago na nahuhulog sila sa iba pa naming colleagues.. lagi na silang magkasama.. super close na at nagpaparamdaman..

dahil dito, napatunayan ko talaga na ang hirap ng long distance relationship.. napakahirap.. kasi even if I hate to say it.. marupok lanmg talaga tayong mga tao.. madali tayong matukso..
